BWT Expands Senior Leadership Team Welcoming Chief Growth Officer

Blue Water Thinking (BWT) is pleased to announce the arrival of Elizabeth (Beth) Martinez Mahan, as Chief Growth Officer. Ms. Mahan is a seasoned growth executive with experience at the highest levels for Fortune 500 management, mid-tier, and small businesses. She has created and built corporate growth structures, led business development, marketing & communications across the federal landscape. She is skilled in strategic planning and implementation; business development and account management; growth management; business model transformation; and industry relationship management.
As BWT's Chief Growth Officer, Ms. Mahan will leverage her deep knowledge of the Federal market (Health, Defense, and Civilian sectors) to guide the firm's growth in existing, adjacent, and new markets. Her extensive experience in business development, strategy, capture, and IDIQ/BPA management will further position BWT for continued growth. Prior to joining BWT, Ms. Mahan was an Executive Vice President at Atlas Research, where she concentrated on growth, innovations, healthcare, and technology. She helped guide Atlas from a small business into the mid-tier market space through the expansion into the VA, DOD and HHS markets. Previously, she helped guide the Healthcare Sector at Booz Allen Hamilton and drove growth of that portfolio at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Ms. Mahan is a recognized expert and speaker in healthcare and has received the prestigious Health Data Management Award for the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare. Ms. Mahan's 25+ years of experience has proved invaluable to clients in health care, government operations, and issues related to Veterans, both as a former Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health systems specialist and as a federal government consultant. She is passionate about driving strategies for innovation to catalyze growth and performance for her clients' most pressing challenges.
Ms. Mahan embraces all issues surrounding Veterans, their families, and their caregivers. She is a member on several Boards and volunteers her time in support of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Easter Seals, The Elizabeth Dole Foundation-The Host Committee, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the VA/Disabled American Veterans Winter Sports Clinic. Ms. Mahan also served as an adjunct professor of Health Information Systems at the Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies.
