Biomedical Engineering Technology and Professional Support Services (BETPSS) IDIQ

BETPSS is an IDIQ for biomedical engineering departments at VA medical centers, outpatient clinics, Veteran Integrated Service Network Offices, and the VA Healthcare Technology Management Program Office. The IDIQ provides contracted resources for corrective and planned maintenance, professional biomedical engineering services, healthcare consulting, technology assessments, implementation and sustainment of medical equipment and clinical systems, and project management. This also includes routine operational tasks such as maintenance and patient safety recall investigations, as well as unexpected or time-limited tasks like COVID-19 pandemic support and operational readiness services for Office of Electronic Health Records Management/Cerner deployment.

Additionally, BETPSS offers interim biomedical engineering services either onsite or remotely while full-time positions are recruited and hired to fill permanent roles in biomedical engineering departments as needed.
